Case Study: Wavemaker achieves improved productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction with Microsoft SharePoint

A Microsoft SharePoint Case Study

Preview of the Wavemaker Case Study

Advertising giant improves employee productivity and satisfaction with cloud collaboration solution

Wavemaker, a global advertising agency with 138 offices in 90 countries, faced inefficiencies after the merger of MEC and Maxus: fragmented file storage, time‑consuming email attachments and version‑control issues, and slow access to documents across locations. The company launched a New Ways of Working program to avoid recreating legacy systems and to make collaboration faster, simpler and more secure.

Wavemaker moved to Microsoft Office 365 (OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and Teams) with Addin365’s Work Hub and an adoption-focused onboarding program. The cloud solution created a single source of truth, enabled real‑time coauthoring and secure remote access, improved client communication via SharePoint sites, and increased mobility and employee satisfaction. In six months more than 3,500 people (50% of staff) were onboarded, 100% of those users now use OneDrive and Teams, and the company is seeing measurable time savings, stronger security and higher productivity.
