National Agency for Infrastructure (ANI) - Customer Case Study

The National Agency for Infrastructure (ANI), part of Colombia’s Ministry of Transport based in Bogotá, oversees the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the country’s transport infrastructure with the aim of connecting all 32 departments by 2035. Facing more funding and large-scale government works, ANI was managing more than 75 highway and infrastructure projects at once and needed stronger project and portfolio management and collaboration, so it deployed Microsoft Project Online from Microsoft Project.

Using Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Project enabled ANI to standardize schedules, track project progress, anticipate and resolve issues, and improve team communication. The implementation boosted collaboration among agency staff, builders, and auditors, increased process transparency and data reliability, sped decision‑making, and helped minimize risks while optimizing the use of public resources.
