Muckleshoot Casino Resort wins big with improved visibility and collaboration from Microsoft Project for the web

The Muckleshoot Casino Resort, the largest casino in Washington state, needed a better way to manage a growing volume of IT and business projects tied to its gaming operations and an upcoming hotel resort. Its teams had been using a patchwork of Excel, email, PowerPoint, and other tools, which made it hard to track milestones, costs, and priorities or give leadership clear visibility into project status.

The resort adopted Microsoft Project for the web, with help from Sensei Project Solutions and Sensei IQ, to bring project tracking, reporting, and collaboration into a single cloud-based system. With Microsoft Project and its integrations with Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint, the PMO gained real-time reporting, easier file access, and faster workflows; leaders could review projects by defined criteria and the team said it was moving through work much faster.
