Microsoft Project helps Danish skylight manufacturer unify data systems and remote employees while improving processes

VELUX, the roof windows and skylights manufacturer, needed a more cohesive project portfolio management solution to address conflicting data models across business functions and locations. The company wanted a system that was easy to use, scalable, and able to provide a single source of truth for projects, so it chose Microsoft Project.

Built on Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Project helped VELUX connect project planning, collaboration, and reporting in one system. By December 2021, VELUX had trained more than 200 employees and migrated about 1,000 projects, and the platform was being used by 2,000 employees; the company said user satisfaction more than doubled and time to market improved.
