Wipro modernizes the world’s oldest cosmetic brand—protects it from online fraud with Dynamics 365

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting needed a way to grow its e-commerce business after acquiring Yardley of London, the world’s oldest cosmetic brand. With less than 5 percent of sales coming from e-commerce, it wanted to launch a new online platform with fraud protection that could scale as the brand grew. Wipro chose Microsoft Power Apps as part of a broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform approach.

Wipro deployed Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection on the Yardley of London site and tested it on live traffic to reduce online payment and account creation fraud. The company expects to reduce fraud by at least 80 percent, while also improving transaction acceptance and simplifying fraud analysis. Wipro also used Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to support no-code app development, automation, and reporting across its e-commerce operations.
