Case Study: Belron (Autoglass) achieves process digitization and major productivity gains with Microsoft Power Apps

A Microsoft Power Apps Case Study

Preview of the Belron Case Study

Vehicle glass repair provider digitizes processes and increases productivity with self-developed apps

Belron, the global leader in vehicle glass repair (brands include Autoglass®, Carglass® and Safelite®), faced paper‑based, error‑prone and time‑consuming processes—mobile technicians had to call dispatch and staff updated multiple systems—hindering efficiency and customer service. To digitize and streamline operations, Belron adopted Microsoft Power Apps (supported by the Common Data Service, Microsoft Flow and Power BI) to create mobile and internal applications.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, a single non‑programmer built 40+ in‑house apps now used by more than 3,000 employees (including 1,500 technicians), automating workflows and improving data security. The apps produced clear savings and productivity gains: the Weekly Vehicle Safety Checklist yields about USD 1.66M in potential annual revenue, the Technical Helpdesk avoided USD 40,000/year in external supplier costs, audits fell from 20 to 5 minutes freeing time for extra repairs, and other Belron companies are beginning to roll out Power Apps.
