Surrey and Borders Partnership, a UK health and social care services provider, needed to streamline its clinical model, replace paper‑based workflows, and respond rapidly to COVID‑19 and other service transformations. To deliver tailored, secure applications quickly and cost‑effectively, the trust adopted Microsoft Power Apps (part of the Power Platform) to build low‑code solutions for staff and patients.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, Surrey and Borders Partnership deployed more than 30 solutions—migrating key apps to Dataverse for improved security and scalability—so that projects that once took months were delivered in weeks. The platform powered a flu‑vaccination app (plus COVID track & trace and PPE ordering tools), enabled real‑time Power BI monitoring, increased frontline vaccination uptake from under 50% to over 90%, and established a Center of Excellence to scale citizen development across other trusts.
