A Microsoft Power Apps Case Study

Preview of the The Heico Companies Case Study

The Heico Companies streamlines operations and makes data-led decisions using Dynamics 365

The Heico Companies, a U.S. holding company with more than 70 operating companies, faced fragmented legacy ERPs and decentralized processes that made finance, supply‑chain oversight, and portfolio‑level decision‑making difficult. To centralize and standardize finance and operations, The Heico Companies adopted a Microsoft technology stack—including Microsoft Power Apps alongside Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Power BI, and Azure services—to simplify reporting, reduce complexity, and enable data‑led decisions.

Working through a centralized PMO with partner DXC and Microsoft FastTrack support, The Heico Companies implemented Dynamics 365 and used Microsoft Power Apps to automate processes, plus Power BI and Azure for analytics and data storage. The vendor solutions standardized costing, order management, and profit monitoring; four entities (two manufacturers and two holding companies) went live on schedule and under budget, delivering faster financial reporting, clearer profitability insights, reduced technology debt, and a scalable, repeatable deployment toolkit for broader rollouts.
