Suffolk builds efficiency into data access and teamwork with Microsoft Teams to save time and money

Suffolk, a large U.S. construction firm, needed faster, more reliable access to jobsite data and better coordination across offices and mobile crews—challenges intensified by COVID‑19 screening and the complexity of managing dozens of trade partners. To modernize workflows and safety checks, Suffolk implemented Microsoft Power Apps as part of a broader Microsoft 365 stack (including Teams, Forms, Power Automate, Power BI, and Lists) to centralize data collection and collaboration.

Using Microsoft Power Apps within Microsoft Teams, Suffolk built forms and apps for daily check‑ins, routed issues via Power Automate into task repositories, and embedded Power BI dashboards in Teams for real‑time visibility. The Microsoft Power Apps–enabled solution sped issue resolution, improved contractor performance tracking and safety monitoring, supported informed financial decisions in meetings, and has been rolled out nationally—delivering time and cost savings through faster data-driven actions.
