Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs turned to Microsoft Power Apps (via Corporate Software AG) to solve a pandemic-era workspace crunch. SECO needed a way to manage rising on-site staffing while keeping individual desks available and safe, so they sought a simple, digital booking system that integrated with their existing Microsoft 365 tools.
Using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and the Power Platform, Corporate Software AG built a workspace app integrated with Microsoft Teams and a digital ground plan that lets staff book desks up to three weeks in advance. The Microsoft Power Apps solution eliminated daily desk searches, required no user training, is accessible on desktop and mobile, improved productivity and collaboration, and set SECO up for future features like predictive office‑use analytics and wider rollout to other agencies.
