A Microsoft Power Apps Case Study
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) faced fragmented project management across teams using Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint and PowerPoint, which dispersed data, created inconsistent access, and made it hard to request work or track status. To unify processes and improve visibility, SNHU partnered with Innovative-e and built a university-wide platform on Microsoft 365 and Teams, leveraging Project Online and the Power Platform—including Microsoft Power Apps—for a consistent, institution-wide project management experience.
Innovative-e deployed its T4PM solution as a pre-built Power App in Teams and SNHU migrated project management to Teams with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Project Online, creating a single Power BI dashboard and standardized reporting. The Microsoft Power Apps–based solution delivered faster access to project data, simplified onboarding, increased cross-department collaboration and transparency, reduced rework, and enabled leadership to see project status, budgets and alignment to university goals—improving prioritization and resource management across the institution.
