Sky Group - Customer Case Study

Sky Group needed to transform a legacy sales-force automation setup that only recorded basic activity counts into a system that actually improved sales behavior and could be confidently offered to clients. The company sought integrations with its business card management, internal SNS and existing Excel workflows so that data entry would be faster, individual tacit knowledge would be shared, and supervisors could spot stalled accounts. To meet those goals Sky moved to Microsoft cloud technologies—most notably Dynamics 365 Sales—and used Microsoft Power Apps (alongside Azure and Office 365) to extend and customize the solution.

Sky implemented Dynamics 365 integrated with its business-card scanner, internal SNS, Excel outputs, and analytics, and customized the Dynamics mobile experience using Microsoft Power Apps. The results included automation of daily reports, Personal View analytics, push notifications via SNS, and mobile secure access; input time for business-card data fell to less than a quarter of the previous time and client-survey aggregation that took 1–2 hours can now be output instantly. Thanks to Microsoft Power Apps and the Dynamics 365 platform, Sky achieved dramatically improved sales efficiency, clearer team-based follow-up, and a repeatable integration pattern they can propose to clients.
