Power Apps as a bridge to SAP Automated digital customer orders for WENKO field service

Wenko-Wenselaar GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned supplier of more than 5,000 branded articles for the bathroom, kitchen, laundry and home, wanted to replace a manual order process that relied on Excel sheets and paper. Orders entered by sales staff were later transferred to SAP, which made the process error-prone and had to fit into WENKO’s Microsoft-based infrastructure.

Microsoft Power Apps was used to build a digital order app for the full process, with product search, barcode scanning, an interface to SAP, and offline use. The app also includes returns handling and QR code tracking, helping WENKO reduce errors, save time in order taking, and spend more time with customers.
