Hawkary Pharmaceuticals Company, one of Iraq’s largest pharmaceutical distributors with more than 100 field representatives, struggled with inefficient, inconsistent Excel-based daily reports (20+ emails/day, 400+ reports/month) that made it difficult to aggregate data, spot trends, and maintain doctor relationships. To address this, the company turned to Microsoft Power Apps and complementary services (Microsoft Flow, Power BI, and Azure SQL Database) to replace manual spreadsheets and centralize reporting.
Sales and Marketing Manager Mohammad Alkhawaja built a Doctor Relationship Management (DRM) app in Microsoft Power Apps that stores data in Azure SQL Database, automates notifications with Microsoft Flow, and delivers analysis via Power BI. The solution cut rep reporting time from about 30 minutes to 5–10 minutes per day—roughly 10 hours saved per rep per month—gave supervisors instant, unified reports, improved targeting and performance measurement accuracy, and streamlined team communication, all enabled by Microsoft Power Apps.
