Partners In Health manages gift review process with PowerApps

Partners In Health, a Boston-based global health nonprofit of 17,000+ staff serving communities in 10 countries, needed to standardize and speed up its gift (donation) review process for ~1,000+ major individual donors. Gift officers (about 10 people) struggled with fragmented data across Excel, an inflexible CRM, and scattered storage, so PIH adopted the Microsoft Power Apps Power Platform—using Microsoft Power Apps (PowerApps) for a Gift Review app and Power BI for management reporting—to bring consistency and mobile access to their workflows.

PIH’s Analytics and Applications team built a Gift Review PowerApp that pulls data from their SQL data warehouse and SharePoint Online, gives gift officers a mobile, portfolio-filtered To-Do checklist, and ties into Power BI dashboards for managers. The Microsoft Power Apps solution delivered real-time visibility, standardized workflows, easier reporting, and more time for donor engagement (rather than digging for data), made reporting scalable, and created a foundation for additional Power Platform scenarios—helping PIH better manage portfolios and ultimately raise more funds.
