MYTILINEOS makes the incoming invoices management process easier with Azure and Power Apps

Mytilineos, a global industrial and energy company, faced a time‑consuming incoming‑invoice process that required accounting staff to manually check and log more than 200 invoices daily. Working with Microsoft Digital Advisory Services, the company adopted Microsoft Power Apps (together with Azure and Automate Desktop) to support its broader digital transformation and reduce repetitive manual work.

Using Microsoft Power Apps the team built an end‑to‑end automated solution that digitizes receipt, approval, posting and archiving of invoices and uses RPA to complete the final SAP posting (changing invoice status and creating the accounting document number). The automation has saved substantial staff time, driven errors to nearly zero, streamlined handling of 200+ daily invoices, and helped promote a company‑wide digital culture that’s accelerating further Azure and Power Apps initiatives.
