Case Study: MVP Health Care achieves unified member engagement and better patient outcomes with Microsoft Power Apps

A Microsoft Power Apps Case Study

Preview of the MVP Health Care Case Study

MVP Health Care uses Dynamics 365 to personalize member support, promote healthy communities

MVP Health Care, a regional not‑for‑profit health payer serving about 700,000 members, struggled with a fragmented, siloed CRM environment that forced service reps to sign into multiple applications and work from up to 16 screens, slowing resolutions and creating duplicate contacts. To create a unified, interoperable member‑engagement platform, MVP adopted Microsoft technologies—including Dynamics 365 (Customer Insights, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales), Azure, and Microsoft Power Apps—to build a single view into each member’s health and needs.

Using Microsoft Power Apps as part of a broader Dynamics 365 and Power Platform rollout, MVP consolidated EHR, claims, and transactional data into a centralized, AI‑driven platform (Customer Insights), automated workflows with Power Automate, and added analytics via Power BI. The Microsoft Power Apps‑enabled solution let business teams replace legacy apps, streamline renewals and compliance from days/weeks to automated processes, deploy the platform to ~1,400 users, and is projected to save up to $6 million a year while improving member service, personalization, and clinical outcomes.
