Majans spices up operations with Dynamics 365; lays foundations for factory of the future

Majans, the Queensland‑based snackfood manufacturer behind Bhuja Snacks, faced a rapid‑growth challenge: competing with much larger international rivals while replacing an SAP Business One legacy and eliminating time‑consuming paper and manual data processes. To build an intelligent “factory of the future” and compress process cycle times, the company turned to Microsoft Power Apps alongside an Azure‑based Dynamics 365 core (with Power BI, Power Automate/Flow, SharePoint and Teams) to drive end‑to‑end digital transformation.

Majans implemented Dynamics 365 and a portfolio of Microsoft Power Apps for people, production, quality, engineering and lean systems, added Power BI visual management and adopted Teams for real‑time collaboration, while piloting Azure IoT for machine‑level data. The Microsoft Power Apps‑led solution automated data collection and analysis (addressing a prior pain point where ~80% of time went to data gathering), increased transparency and engagement via live dashboards and planned gamified scorecards, and shortened cycle times so teams can spend more time on insights and actions rather than manual reporting.
