KPMG helps accelerate relief fund disbursement, improves tracking and management of federal grants

KPMG, working with GrantCare, helped the State of Georgia urgently manage $3.58 billion in Coronavirus Relief Fund aid under a tight three-week timeline and rapidly changing eligibility and reporting requirements. To meet this challenge, KPMG used Microsoft Power Apps together with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power BI to create a user-friendly, auditable grant-management platform that could be configured and scaled quickly.

KPMG and GrantCare implemented the GrantCare solution built on Dynamics 365, extended with Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI, delivering automated workflows, portal interactions, and real-time dashboards that track every payment and refresh on data changes. Microsoft Power Apps enabled faster disbursement, greater transparency and compliance, reduced manual reporting and potential outsourcing costs (saving potentially millions), and provided a repeatable, scalable platform KPMG can reuse for future grant programs.
