EY teams speeds time to market using Microsoft Power Platform, delights clients with flexible, all-in-one solution

Ernst & Young faced a fragmented, data‑heavy challenge: clients and staff had to manage employee mobility, tax, immigration, and compensation across siloed systems. To centralize and simplify these services, Ernst & Young built the EY Mobility Pathway and leveraged Microsoft Power Apps (as part of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem) alongside Power Automate, Power BI, Dynamics 365, Azure, and a custom React portal to prototype and validate the concept quickly.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, EY implemented a cloud‑based, case‑management platform with Dataverse for data, Power Automate for workflows, and Power BI for reporting. The team built a demo prototype in six weeks and launched the first client in six months, cut client deployment and customization time from 6–12 months to about 2 months, and drastically reduced manual work through automation—giving clients a single, flexible tool that handles thousands of country‑to‑country scenarios and delivers a much improved user experience.
