Electrolock modernizes—and simplifies—inventory management on Power Platform

Electrolock, a small U.S. manufacturer of high‑voltage insulation products, struggled with a cumbersome spreadsheet- and email‑based inventory process that hindered efficiency and threatened its ability to win business from competitors. To modernize operations and offer a web‑based inventory/POS experience, Electrolock partnered with Confluent and adopted Microsoft Power Apps as part of a Power Platform solution that also used Microsoft Dataverse for Teams and Power Automate.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, Electrolock rolled out a canvas Inventory App for technicians and a model‑driven app for managers, both connected to Dataverse and automated with Power Automate to generate and transmit POs and update records. The deployment eliminated spreadsheet/email ping‑pong, delivered real‑time inventory visibility, reduced manual data entry and rework, sped invoicing and reconciliations, and freed resources to focus on product development and customer service.
