Elbe-Werkstätten optimizes its processes based on low-code with Microsoft Power Apps

Elbe-Werkstätten GmbH, a health provider with 1,000–9,999 employees operating across 50 decentralized locations, faced cumbersome, paper-based communication and administration as it scaled digitalization. To modernize and simplify workflows, Elbe-Werkstätten adopted the Microsoft Power Apps low-code platform (alongside Power Platform and Azure Logic Apps) to make digital tools accessible to staff with varying IT experience.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, plus Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform and SharePoint Online, CGI and Elbe-Werkstätten implemented apps that automate Microsoft Teams management and other processes—enabling a Team to be created in just five minutes. The solution delivered simpler, faster processes and real-time collaboration while the Microsoft Power Apps low-code approach lowered the barrier for non-programmers, speeding onboarding and cross-department knowledge transfer.
