Deutsche Reihenhaus finds user-friendly, efficient way to renew device fleet with Windows Autopilot

Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, a Cologne-based residential developer, faced a slow, labor-intensive device refresh process that would have tied up IT staff for months and hindered flexible, remote work. In partnership with IT-HAUS, the company adopted Microsoft technologies — notably Microsoft Power Apps alongside Windows Autopilot and Microsoft 365 services — to find a more user-friendly, efficient way to renew its device fleet and support mobile working.

IT-HAUS implemented a zero-touch procurement and provisioning approach using Windows Autopilot, Microsoft 365 (Intune, Teams, SharePoint) and preconfigured Dell hardware, while planning to use Microsoft Power Apps for future onsite data collection. The rollout was prepared in four weeks and 165 of 250 devices were deployed within two months; device setup time dropped from about five hours to 30 minutes, cutting IT effort and costs and enabling a scalable, cloud-first modern workplace. Microsoft Power Apps will further streamline onsite processes like digital signatures and data capture.
