Cumbria Constabulary modernizes police operations with Power Platform

Cumbria Constabulary, the police force covering Cumbria in the UK, partnered with Tisski and Microsoft Power Apps to modernize aging mobile policing systems. Facing frequent legislative change and inefficient, fragmented field apps, the force needed a more agile, cost‑effective way to update frontline tools for officers and support staff, using Power Apps, Power Automate and Azure Active Directory.

Using Microsoft Power Apps, Tisski delivered the Combined Operational Policing System (COPS) — a consolidated suite (Digital Pocket Notebook, Statement, Vehicle Tickets, etc.) with offline caching and Dataverse auditing built via Power Automate. The solution was rolled out to more than 2,500 frontline officers and support staff, cut delivery time from an expected year to four months, reduced trips back to base, and can be maintained in‑house without increasing staff, delivering clear time and cost savings.
