Coca-Cola Beverages Africa streamlines its operations with Microsoft solutions

Coca Cola (Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa) needed to unify fragmented systems and digitize operations after a major merger to eliminate infrastructure redundancies, improve accountability, and create new routes to market. They engaged Microsoft Power Apps and the broader Microsoft stack (Dynamics 365, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Teams) to build a single, integrated digital platform for finance, customer engagement, HR and analytics.

By implementing Microsoft Power Apps alongside Dynamics 365, Power BI, Azure and Microsoft 365, Coca Cola centralized planning and BI, migrated servers to the cloud, and customized workflows in Teams and Power Apps. The solutions improved BI stability and decision speed, reduced virtual machines and maintenance, and drove measurable impact—IT costs dropped from 2.85% of net sales to just below 1.4%, Teams adoption reached about 94% of 11,200 employees, and Yammer saw roughly 65% uptake in its launch month.
