A Microsoft Power Apps Case Study

Preview of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Case Study

Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth and Sport enhances remote collaboration with Microsoft 365 and Teams

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Bahrain’s government body charged with developing young athletic talent, faced slow decision making, rigid hierarchies, and cumbersome processes that limited its agility. To modernize collaboration and speed service delivery, the ministry adopted Microsoft Power Apps alongside Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams as part of a broader Microsoft solution stack.

Using Microsoft Power Apps together with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Exchange and Enterprise Mobility + Security, the vendor helped the ministry build internal e‑services in one to two weeks, create an HR dashboard, enable secure remote work (including MFA and no‑VPN access), and roll out Teams to nearly 200 staff. As a result, the Ministry reported a 20–50% increase in completed projects year over year, faster service delivery, improved productivity, and stronger security—outcomes attributable to Microsoft Power Apps and the wider Microsoft implementation.
