24Storage, a fast‑growing Swedish self‑storage company, set out to remove physical interactions and centralize all customer and facility operations so customers could sign up, pay, and access units 24/7 without onsite staff. To support rapid expansion and a digital‑first service model, 24Storage worked with partner Sigma and adopted Microsoft Power Apps alongside Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Automate and Power BI to replace fragmented legacy systems and automate customer service and facility management.
Sigma built an omnichannel Microsoft solution—using Azure, Dynamics 365 modules, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Azure IoT—to create a single dashboard, remote video‑assisted customer interactions, remotely operated locks/cameras and sensor‑driven facility monitoring. The Microsoft Power Apps‑based platform now manages 23 facilities remotely with no employees onsite, helped 24Storage remain fully operational during COVID (with rising e‑commerce sales), sped unit turnaround, and positioned the company to keep expanding (targeting 3–4 new facilities a year) while holding the second largest market share in Sweden.
