ZF employees create low-code solutions to accelerate the business using Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse for Teams

ZF Group, a global vehicle supplier with more than 10,000 employees, needed to speed up work across its operations as it evolved from a manufacturer into a mobility technology company. Using Microsoft Power BI as part of Microsoft Power Platform alongside Microsoft Teams and Dataverse for Teams, the company set out to replace paper-heavy, email-driven processes and improve employee experience.

Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft Power Platform helped ZF Group build low-code apps and dashboards for onboarding, HR reviews, safety incident reporting, teamwork surveys, and finance workflows. The results were significant: onboarding time dropped from 360 hours to 10 hours, HR processes became 50% faster with 100% accurate data, and one performance review app reached 92% utilization. ZF also grew a citizen developer community with 150 Dataverse for Teams environments, more than 460 Power Apps makers, and 796 Power Automate users.
