WorkBoard helps enterprises align on objectives and drive key results faster

WorkBoard, a Redwood City–based platform that helps enterprises define and measure objectives and key results (OKRs), faced the challenge of aligning local teams with global strategy and making progress transparent and scalable. To bring data-driven clarity to large, distributed organizations, WorkBoard integrates with Microsoft Power BI (alongside Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams) so leaders can see who’s working on what and track OKRs in real time.

Using Microsoft Power BI dashboards and Microsoft Teams integration, WorkBoard made OKR tracking part of regular business reviews and collaboration workflows, enabling rapid adoption—an 8,000‑member team at a telecommunications customer had its OKRs set up by day two—and driving faster alignment across teams. The Microsoft Power BI-powered visibility helped teams become more focused on closing gaps to goals, contributed to expansion within existing customers (about half of WorkBoard’s sales come from renewals and expansions), and shifted reviews from static decks to data-backed weekly rituals.
