Welocalize, a large professional services company in the United States, needed a better way to manage an enormous monthly volume of work—tens of thousands of projects across 125 languages—while improving execution, delivery, efficiency, and agility. To support that shift, Welocalize adopted Microsoft Viva Goals as part of a more structured goal-setting and agile operating model.

Microsoft helped Welocalize restructure its project management and customer delivery teams into 60 cross-functional Squads of 10 or fewer people, backed by centralized executive sponsorship. The change improved alignment and independence across teams, reduced project manager attrition by more than 10%, and lifted customer Likert satisfaction scores from 4–5 to 7–8 as employees became more familiar with agile methods and OKRs.
