Versar, a global program management company, needed to automate its data capturing, processing, and reporting across Salesforce, Costpoint, and Excel-based workflows. To address this cloud-scale analytics challenge, Microsoft Power BI, along with Azure Synapse Analytics, was used to modernize reporting and reduce the manual effort involved in building business-case analytics.

Microsoft Power BI and Azure Synapse Analytics helped unify Versar’s data pipelines, create semantic models, and deliver two analytical reports, drill-down reports, and internal dashboards. The result was faster, more effective reporting with up-to-date analytics, less time spent compiling spreadsheets, and clearer insights for leaders to improve decision-making.
