Unilever puts metadata in one big basket thanks to CadDo and Microsoft technologies

CadDo worked with Unilever, one of the world’s largest FMCG companies, to help it better understand its Cost to Serve and improve visibility into customer and product profitability. Using Microsoft technologies including Azure, SQL Server, and Microsoft Power BI, CadDo set out to replace complex legacy tools with a clearer, more usable reporting experience.

Microsoft Power BI was part of an end-to-end Microsoft stack that powered CadDo Calculate, a rules-based modeling and calculation engine. The solution is now live in Unilever’s largest markets, covering over 20% of the global business and supporting more than 150 super users with tablet-friendly, easy-to-understand reports that improve supply chain analysis, sales decision-making, and customer benchmarking.
