UK health and social care services provider streamlines its clinical model with Power Platform

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, a UK health and social care provider, needed a faster way to deliver customized digital tools for staff and patients while supporting a changing clinical model. Using Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft Power Platform, the organization looked for alternatives to rigid, paper-based and standardized workflows, especially for vaccination management and other urgent service needs.

Microsoft Power BI helped Surrey and Borders Partnership build a reporting layer for solutions such as flu vaccination and COVID-19 response apps, giving managers real-time visibility into workforce health and vaccination uptake. Combined with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, the platform enabled rapid rollout of several solutions in weeks, improved security and scalability, and helped raise frontline flu vaccination rates from under 50% to over 90%.
