MV Transportation, a large North American passenger transportation provider, wanted to replace paper-based workflows and improve frontline operations across its network. Using Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft Power Platform, the company looked to digitize processes like driver check-in, timesheet reviews, time-off requests, incident reporting, and claims handling while making operations easier for drivers and managers.

Microsoft Power BI helped MV Transportation build a suite of connected apps and dashboards, including a Driver App, Contactless Dispatch, and reporting tools integrated with Teams, Dataverse, Power Automate, and other systems. The results included faster development, with the solution built about four times faster than traditional code, quick adoption by hundreds of drivers, and major savings—most notably an almost 80% reduction in claims submission costs.
