Three UK - Customer Case Study

Three UK, a large UK mobile provider, needed to rebuild its IT infrastructure and adopt agile ways of working to stay nimble across three offices and 324 stores. To connect dispersed teams and speed up collaboration, the company turned to Microsoft Power BI alongside the broader Office 365 suite—using Microsoft Teams, Planner, SharePoint Online, OneNote and Skype for Business—to give employees cloud-based tools for virtual teamwork and agile delivery.

Three UK implemented Microsoft Teams workspaces integrated with Office 365 apps and is deploying Microsoft Power BI to drive deeper productivity analysis; this combination accelerated Office 365 adoption, enabled 24-hour handoffs across time zones, and improved transparency and accountability. The rollout produced measurable engagement gains—Skype for Business calls rose from about 2,800 to 3,800 per month—and delivered cost, security, and onboarding benefits compared with prior tools, helping Three UK work more efficiently and drive its agile transformation.
