The Red Sea Development Company boosts performance reporting utilizing Microsoft Power Platform

The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) is building the 28,000 km² Red Sea Project and needed to track 250+ KPIs across departments. Reliant on single‑user Excel spreadsheets, TRSDC faced slow, error‑prone data consolidation and limited collaboration. To modernize reporting, the organization adopted Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Power Automate and Microsoft Power BI.

Using those Microsoft tools, TRSDC built an in‑house automated reporting solution—connecting SharePoint and other systems to Microsoft Power BI to create 82 real‑time dashboards and role‑based access for simultaneous updates. The change cut KPI reporting cycle time by 50% (from about a month to two weeks), achieved 100% KPI submission, saved at least 250 working hours per quarter, and delivered faster, more consistent executive insights using Microsoft Power BI.
