TGI Fridays - Customer Case Study

TGI Fridays, the rapidly growing UK franchise with 76 locations (and plans to add eight more a year), faced fragmented, manual and volatile integrations across multiple systems that constrained finance, POS, inventory and HR processes. To create a scalable, flexible platform for growth, the company adopted Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Office 365 to consolidate core business operations and reporting.

Using Microsoft Power BI and Dynamics 365 for Operations, TGI Fridays consolidated finance functions, integrated roughly 30 applications (including POS and inventory feeds), and gave staff cloud access and familiar Office-based workspaces. The rollout cut licensing and labor costs, reduced manual errors, improved visibility for managers via Power BI, and freed up around a third of employees’ time to date—with the potential to halve that time as more automation is deployed.
