Tata Realty and Infrastructure builds a data-driven culture on the foundation of Power BI and Azure Analytics Services

Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL), a Tata Sons subsidiary and growing real estate developer in India, needed faster, consistent access to real-time data to support timely decisions across sales, finance, CRM and operations. Facing manual, siloed reporting and lengthy data consolidation, TRIL adopted a modern BI strategy built on Microsoft technologies—notably Microsoft Power BI alongside Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Windows Virtual Machines—to give employees 360-degree visibility and AI-powered insights.

Using Microsoft Power BI and Azure services, TRIL built a unified analytics platform in ten weeks, creating more than 30 guided dashboards that consolidated multiple data sources into a single data lake. The solution democratized data access for more than 240 users, delivered sub-second, configurable reports on any device, and introduced AI-driven chatbots; it cut MIS creation by up to 40 hours per employee (about 9,600 hours annually, or ~4.5 FTEs) and improved reporting accuracy, faster sales identification, collections and overall decision speed.
