Sysmex increases flexibility, mobility, and collaboration with Surface for Business

Sysmex, a global leader in clinical testing solutions, needed more flexible, secure mobile devices and better analytics to support R&D, sales, and field operations. To meet those needs, Sysmex worked with Microsoft Power BI, standardizing on the Microsoft Surface for Business portfolio (Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, Surface Book) and deploying Microsoft 365, Azure AI, and Power BI for analytics and collaboration.

Microsoft Power BI’s deployment paired Surface devices with SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Azure AI and Power BI dashboards to enable real‑time data access, cross‑department collaboration, and secure mobile work. The result: faster R&D iteration informed by analytics, reduced operational redundancy, and higher employee mobility and satisfaction — with all employees in Wuxi and Jinan, over 90% in Shanghai, and half in Hong Kong using Surface devices — and technicians able to install and test equipment at Leishenshan Hospital in 72 hours instead of the usual two weeks.
