Swiftel International, a Kuwaiti telecommunications firm that provides electronic payment solutions, faced limited visibility into device management and field operations—device malfunctions required time‑consuming physical inspections and technician scheduling suffered from blind spots in performance tracking. To solve this, Swiftel worked with partner SurgeTech and turned to Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft cloud stack (Azure IoT Hub, Dynamics 365 for Field Service and Office 365).
SurgeTech implemented Azure IoT Hub and Dynamics 365 for Field Service integrated with Microsoft Power BI to enable remote device monitoring, proactive scheduling and real‑time workforce visibility. The Microsoft Power BI–driven solution allowed Swiftel to manage devices remotely, streamline logistics, boost field productivity and reduce time and costs through predictive insights and improved resource utilization.
