QMerit, an Irvine-based startup, built an enterprise-grade cloud platform to allocate and motivate a complex mix of direct employees, contract workers, and subcontractors. Using Microsoft Power BI and Azure, QMerit deployed a modular platform with APIs, mobile apps, HIPAA-compliant interfaces, and built-in analytics; development moved in two-week sprints so two teams can deliver new capabilities every week. The solution delivered measurable outcomes—launched within a year, secured BMW of North America as a customer for the BMW Installation Services platform, and introduced the QMerit Contribution Index (QCI) to score and compare installers—demonstrating faster time-to-market, objective performance measurement, and clear business impact.
