Manawanui, a New Zealand social services agency supporting nearly 4,500 clients with disabilities, needed to rapidly assess client needs and coordinate delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) when COVID‑19 emerged. Using Dynamics 365 Marketing to launch an information campaign and survey and Microsoft Power BI for centralized dashboards and reporting, Manawanui set out to gather and share data with distribution partners in hours.
Working with partner Fusion5, Manawanui used Dynamics 365 Marketing to capture and tabulate thousands of survey responses and relied on Microsoft Power BI to give internal teams and distribution partners real‑time views of needs and delivery details. The solution—built in hours—enabled rapid distribution of masks and other PPE to vulnerable clients, supported nationwide PPE efforts, and demonstrated the scalability and speed of the Microsoft Power BI–backed platform.
