Slovenian government institution empowers field workers to be more efficient with Power Platform

The Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia, a Ljubljana-based government body responsible for enforcing labor and social legislation, needed to monitor implementation of the Infectious Diseases Act during COVID-19 while reducing paperwork and improving field efficiency. With Microsoft partner B2 IT, the Inspectorate adopted Microsoft Power Platform tools—Power Apps and Microsoft Teams—and used Microsoft Power BI for reporting and analytics.

B2 IT delivered a Power Apps solution integrated with the government business register and deployed in Microsoft Teams, with Microsoft Power BI providing immediate field insight and automated statistical reports. The paperless, mobile workflow let inspectors complete daily tasks up to 30% faster, increased productivity by about 20% (saving roughly 20 hours per month), enabled more inspections in the same reporting period, and made regional performance comparisons and oversight far easier.
