Saudi Aviation company boosts productivity by automating project management, following best practices

The Saudi Aviation Information Technology Company (SAVIT), which provides IT services to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), faced inefficient, siloed project reporting that forced managers to spend excessive time creating reports and delayed approvals. To modernize project management and analytics as part of its cloud strategy, SAVIT deployed Microsoft Project Online and used Microsoft Power BI as the visualization and reporting layer.

By implementing Microsoft Power BI dashboards on top of Project Online (with partner ITWORX supporting the cloud transition), SAVIT created role-based, mobile visualizations for workers, managers, and executives that automated reporting and streamlined workflows. The solution cut reporting overhead, improved decision-making and communication, and reduced approval times dramatically—processes that once took up to a month now take about five days, with some management approvals completed in a single day.
