Qatar Post - Customer Case Study

Qatar Post, Qatar’s national postal service, faced heavy manual workloads—handling 1,000–2,000 dispatch documents daily with about three minutes of manual processing per document—alongside time‑consuming quality, retail and HR reporting as it pursued digital transformation. Partnering with SquareOne and using Microsoft Power BI technologies (notably Power Automate and Azure Cognitive Services), Qatar Post set out to automate document capture, reporting and operational workflows.

By deploying Power Automate with Azure Cognitive Services OCR and automated Power BI reporting, the Microsoft Power BI solution now processes more than 1,000 dispatch documents daily, eliminates much manual data entry, and provides real‑time dashboards for error monitoring. The program also deployed roughly 50 automated mobile robots that improved sorting efficiency by 60%, automated retail and overtime/HR workflows (saving weeks of HR effort for ~1,000 employees), and delivered measurable gains in accuracy, efficiency and operational visibility.
