Peel Region - Customer Case Study

Peel Region, which provides services like water and affordable housing to more than 1.5 million residents, wanted to modernize its technology to improve experiences for both employees and residents. Employees were already using Microsoft 365, and Peel Region partnered with Microsoft Power BI (along with other Microsoft collaboration and security tools) to enable better remote collaboration and modern information-sharing.

Using Microsoft Power BI together with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft security solutions, Peel Region removed barriers to information sharing, improved employee productivity and satisfaction, and facilitated knowledge sharing. The Microsoft Power BI–enabled approach and enhanced security prevented about 10,000 emails with viruses or malicious URLs and detected 11 unsuccessful system breaches over 12 months.
