Natuzzi crafts amazing customer experiences with Microsoft mixed reality technologies

Natuzzi, the Italian furniture maker, set out to transform its white‑glove customer service and accelerate the purchase journey across a global retail footprint. To create immersive “augmented stores” that let customers visualize furniture in their own homes while also capturing richer customer and inventory data, Natuzzi deployed a suite of Microsoft technologies — including HoloLens, Azure, Dynamics 365 — and used Microsoft Power BI to unify and analyze that data.

Natuzzi’s solution combined mixed‑reality experiences (built with HoloLens, Azure services, and Dynamics 365 in partnership with Hevolus) with a single source of truth for analytics using Microsoft Power BI. Power BI visualizations gave Natuzzi deep insights into inventory and customer behavior, enabling virtually unlimited in‑store inventory, shortening purchase decisions by one‑third, and increasing conversion rates by one‑third — outcomes that boost dollar‑per‑square‑foot performance and support expansion into smaller, high‑traffic retail locations.
