Case Study: Sanitas improves self-service data analytics with Microsoft Power BI

More than 1,000 Sanitas employees are already taking advantage of the capabilities of Big Data through the DOC project

Sanitas, a leading health and wellness provider in Spain, needed a better way to unlock data trapped in corporate silos and make business intelligence more accessible across the organization. To address this challenge, the company turned to Microsoft Power BI to help employees access, understand, and analyze information more easily through a self-service analytics approach.

With Microsoft Power BI, Sanitas launched the DOC project, enabling employees to create customized reports and dashboards without heavy dependence on other departments. In the past year alone, 1,037 employees joined the initiative, generating nearly 5,400 reports and 128 dashboards, while also strengthening data culture, improving daily operations, and increasing transparency across the company.
