Mindtree, a global IT services firm with 16,500+ employees and more than 150 applications, faced fragmented data and time-consuming manual reporting that hampered leadership decision-making. To centralize data and surface cross-functional insights, Mindtree selected Microsoft Power BI as the visualization and self-service analytics platform to complement an enterprise data warehouse.

Mindtree implemented an Enterprise Data Warehouse and launched the MindSight initiative using Microsoft Power BI to deliver interactive dashboards (geo footprint, headcount, attrition, fact sheet, customer-wise revenue) with real-time updates and natural-language query capability. The solution automated previously manual reports, gave leaders instant, cross-functional insights (including attrition and people-cost trends), reduced dependence on IT for reporting, and enabled faster, data-driven decisions.
