Midwest Industrial Supply improves inventory accuracy, boosts productivity with Dynamics 365 Field Service

Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc., a U.S. provider of dust-control, soil-stabilization, lubrication, and deicing solutions, struggled with manual, disparate field-service processes that slowed order-to-cash, impaired inventory tracking, and hampered visibility. With partner Velosio’s guidance, the company standardized operations by adopting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service and Microsoft Power BI to replace paper, faxes, and ad hoc tools.

Velosio implemented Dynamics 365 Field Service with a mobile app and connected dashboards to Microsoft Power BI for analytics and reporting, giving real-time visibility into orders, inventory, and driver locations. The change accelerated invoicing (improving order-to-cash by five days or more), freed two full-time staff from data entry, reduced driving and material waste, and enabled automated customer compliance reports—delivering measurable productivity, cost, and sustainability gains.
